Ellie J Maui is a jewelry brand that is hand created
on the beautiful island of Maui, by Tracy.
It’s absolutely lovely to meet you.
Ellie J Maui is founded and owned by third-generation jeweler, Tracy, whose handmade, top-of-the-line jewelry is so versatile, you’ll never take it off.
As a young girl, she grew to love the trade as she learned about it. She often observed her father and grandparents’ mastery with their creations. Her love and genetic instinct to create only increased more and more with time.
She and her husband raised three children, and she currently has two grandchildren. Her first of which, Ellie, is the inspiration for her company’s name.
All the way from Maui, Hawaii, Tracy’s jewelry is inspired by the beautiful scenery that surrounds her. She continuously works to create the latest in modern styles that serves as the most ideal minimalistic and bohemian jewelry. Each item is hand crafted, with quality wire, just for you, specified to your liking.

Tracy’s background
My background is very organic and family oriented, my style blossomed while working alongside creative parents in our family owned and operated estate jewelry store on the island of Maui. My father Bruce is a bench jeweler and my mother Nancy is a talented designer and home decorator.
Making jewelry became a reality 5 years ago when I was messing around at one of the jewelry benches at the store. Using a piece of scrap gold I soldered it together, hammered on it a little and then polished. Wala! A ring too small to wear in the traditional way, but it fit the top of my finger and so I wore it!
5 years ago not many people knew what a midi ring was and some even laughed at the idea of the placement of the ring on the finger. Although, every time I wore it, I received many compliments. I started manufacturing the little midi’s, opened a store on Etsy and started this journey.
The midi ring manufacturing has now grown to stackable rings, bracelets, simple everyday organic earrings and long and layered necklaces. Creating pieces with textures and semi precious stones have naturally found their way into the designs that EllieJMaui now creates each and everyday for customers around the world.
